TeamRush Ignition Upgrade

Has this upgrade got any better ? I have a CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l 6 C 4.2 engine Can I install a Ford F-AMC 150 300 engine distribuitor and rotor ? If so what cables should i use. Should sparkplugs be updated too ?

I know this is very late but I do think it is necessary.
