Tf999 mount

Need help with finding the correct mount for a TF999 in my 84 CJ7 with AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . I'm changing from manual to auto and need help with what transmount folks are using that have the same setup. I have everything assembled in the jeep but there's about a 1.5 inch gap between the transmount on the crossmember and the Transmission itself. The Dana 300 won't let the Transmission go down anymore without hitting the crossmember.

There should be a 'W" shaped steel mount/strap that mounts in between the torque arm and the unit which possibly makes up for the dimension your describing.

Do you know the height of the "w" shaped mount? I am missing that piece and would like to fabricate my know but want to make sure I have the correct spacing.
