Holy smokes!

I was just Googleing and went to Pirate4x4. The four letter :dung: was nuts. And the guy wasn't banned?

So Thank You CJ for keeping this forum a fun place to be on. :notworthy:

Thats the difference between Jeep-CJ.com and the other sites. People on those other sites are so condescending and will denigrate someone that simply may not know much about cars or jeeps.
Jeep-CJ.com is a polite, helpful, technical site. Best of all it's free and has almost no ads. I still say we need a way to donate money to CJ for his work on this site. We have a link but CJ hasn't enabled it.

Why isnt this link enabled?

Yes thanks CJ.:notworthy: And thanks to all on the site for all of their helpful knowledge.:chug:

Its tough to wade through all the garbage that Pirate has become to get to the tech. I used to be on no less than 15 differnt boards till this site came along.Ive whittled it down to 4 and spend the majority ( obviously ) of my time here.

I can never say thanks enough for this great site. :notworthy:

Your right about All the 4 letter words thats why i dont get on pirte4x4 anymore. Wish we could pay him back for having such a great site.

I don't know how many folks have noticed, but CJ isn't on the forum as much as he used to be and I have been rather worried about him. I sent him an email, but I know he is a really, really busy guy dealing with some tough issues, so no response - no problem, but I am still concerned.:(

When CJ moved us to the new server he said he was going to enable the donate system, but that never did happen. I would love to help out some way, even if it's only a donation of cash. Someone please PM me his address and I will send him something anyway...

I am HERE for the very reasons stated in previous posts in this thread. And I have genuine friends here too. I never worry about getting flamed, (I do try to read the rules and not be a total ditz...), but I know if I put something in the wrong place, someone will nicely suggest a better place where I would have a better response. NO MEAN NASTYNESS! And I really, really appreciate what CJ and all the MODS and members make this forum. You are ALL AWESOME!!!!:notworthy:

Indeed, thanks you CJ. Thanks to everyone on here. This site is most helpful, kind, and I know when I come here that its straightforward and not a bunch of riff raff cussing and raising cane. Thanks for keeping it real yall. This site is my one stop for anything CJ. I would proudly plaster site stickers on anything of mine I.could get them on. Thanks, and hats off to you CJ.

I have just joined this site as I am about to hopefully be owning and driving a CJ again and so far I am impressed with this site. So thank you CJ and also thank you to everyone here that makes this forum what it is.

Wow! Just saw this thread! I want to say thanks. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. The concerns and the thoughts are very nice.

A little run down...

I started this site because I saw a need for a dedicated late model CJ forum, there were other forums on the net but none were dedicated to the years of CJs I loved. I also did not like the way many of the the forums were handled so I decided to start my own.

I spent about two years integrating different 'software' to create this site. On 6-17-2008 I opened the site publicly. I spent many days posting questions and answers to my self before I finally had my first member! Great!

From then we started to grow (there is no I now as it is we).

Since then we have seen so many new members but unfortunately we have also seen those that have left, that is what happens.

You all make this site what it is, I have nothing to do with it. I simply gave you all the avenue to mold this place into what we have become. If you really want to pat someones back, pat yours! You deserve it for keeping this place respectable, informative, humble and fun!

Regards.

CJ

Oh yea - new vinyl stickers are at the print shop (not those crappy paper ones.)

Yes, thank you. It is partly the people that make a site like this but it takes great leadership and a vision of what you want it to be to have it really come together. Well done.

So how do we buy the new stickers?
