Good Morning.

Most Excellent that you are interested in joining Steve's GREAT Adventure for 2026.
I will PM you his email address and tell him that you are interested.

Being a "New Jeep Guy" this will be a Great first time experience of Overlanding. 35-40% is to be country Hard Top Roads, and Gravel and Dirt the rest.
NO Rock Crawling or Incline Gauge "Red Zone" trails.
I traveling with Military Omni Directional Tires.....

Yes we are Tent Camping, but you are free to find motels and catch up with us each morning.
(Don't make any of the camp ground reservations, I will save you money and aggravation with messing with the State Reservation System)

Please post up pictures of Your Rig so others brave joining us.

Just a quick update. Steve has made some BETTER camping layover points. Nothing that changes the route or adds days.

Again, ALL Makes, Years, of 4x4
with Owners of Free Spirited Sense of Adventure WELCOME.
Yes we call it a Rallye, but it is NOT RACE !! It is a ADVENTURE and Exploring. And some Interesting Side Trips into Civilization...... 😆

That’s still fairly early in summer dates. What are the usual temperatures that time of year ?

That’s pretty close to what I was figuring. Weather that north and early in the summer can be pretty fickle. Only thing you’re missing is the early summer blizzard.

That’s the ticket.

We were hoping that Summer would land on a Weekend in August this year 😁

For those who might be interested. Wisconsin is actually very nice mid June.
AND;
NO Sharks, NO Threat for Poison Snakes, NO Alligators, Yellow Fever, Malaria, or Parasitic Worms.
BUT;
There are Free Ranging Illinois Tourist !! Drive at your own risk!

Don’t ever underestimate the bull shark, they can swim many hundreds of miles inland and love brackish water and do well in fresh. They love a big fat tourist floating around in the water, flailing. Then you have those people that raise an alligator in their bathtub for years and they just get to big. If they don’t eat the gator, they let them go in the local waterway in June and bam ! You have a gator around until the freeze.

People from Louisiana are ONLY allowed in Wisconsin with a Visa
For these Exact Problems. LOL

Don’t worry about us. Once we arrive in Wisconsin we put Bubba teeth in and blend right in.

You must be planning on Landing In Adams County...... BLAAHAHA
