Good Morning Trail Fans.

We (I and the Timber Cruiser) Survived our Adventure.
1233 miles total, Over 700 miles on Trails, in a Tiny 4x4 pulling a M-416 1/4 ton Trailer.

We did have Two Casualties.
1st, At Day 2,
A Rover 110 had a Flat, a Fuel Return Line Leak, and a Oil Leak at a Pan Gasket. Dave made it home safely in Minneapolis.

2nd, At Day 6,
A Toyota FJ, at our Lunch Stop, after hearing Bad Voodoo Noises during the morning run in the left front......
Found a CV Joint Boot had ripped, and all the Great Things of Trail Driving, "Mud, Sand, Water, Small Gravel" are NFG for CV Joints!! Tim limped it home at 45 mph or less all the way to Oshkosh. (This is WHY I don't like Exposed CV Joints. I'm in favor of the Cup and Bell Solid Axles!)

AND Dave Surprised us on Day 3,
He Caught Up to us at a fuel stop,
and rejoined us in his other Rover, a Discovery 8V1.

The Weather was a Better Part of the Challenge than the Trails !!
The 9th of June, Torrential Rains and 80+ mph Winds came through our campground. The Park Rangers had everyone go to the Bathroom/Shower Building to ride it out.
I got lucky only to have Tons of Leaves and Small Branches all over my spot and Rig.
Two whole trees blew over blocking the Park Entrance Road.
The 10th and 11th had more Heavy Rains !!
After we clocked in the Start Point for Miles at the "Point of the Beginning", we back tracked to this Awning on a Closed Business.

I will post more when I can.
I'm doing the post trip, laundry, sanitizing cookware and dishes, and later today, pressure wash both the Timber Cruiser and M-416 trailer to get all the Trail Crud out of everything. Especially the Engine compartment. Usually being the last vehicle in line, I was eating everyone's Trail Dust !!
Dave Jokingly said at a lunch stop looking at his Rover Discovery, "It's is Also Available in Black !"

I left on the 9th a Day Early to beat the Weather which worked out.
Steve and the Girls arrived on the 10th.
The Official Take Off was 11:00 am on the 11th.
I arrived safely at home at 6:30 pm on the 17th.
Steve made it home yesterday evening on the 18th.
So, I was gone 9 days.

As you can see, we got to see points of interest in the Rain!

It was still raining at our second campground (pictured) so I just slept in the Timber Cruiser's Jump Seat. Didn't feel like setting up the Tent in a full rain.

Trail Updates.
The weather turns better and we get to take in a few Cool Things to find off the beaten path !

The Ice Cave. This is both a Water Fall and a Large Spring that feeds this Creek. During the Winter, the Water Fall Freezes Over and creates a Room/Igloo behind it.
