It's not my daily driver.

You WASH your CJ? I just wait for it to rain, no need wasting water. :D

What is this rain you speak of...I heard a great indian once spoke of this water from the sky, but thought it was a myth...:D

In AZ you have to get the dust out once in a while. If not it becomes a vortex inside and you can't see where the hell you're going.

I always thought that was part of the Jeep adventure.

If it gets scratched you just spray paint it. Then wash it :D.

Here in Southern ILL and IND if you dont wash them out underneath after every play day they rust even worse than when they were new.
I like that if I hit a tree or scrape the side it doesnt hurt my pockets like if it was a daily driver.

I can take the entire thing apart with basically 3 wrenches; 7/16", 1/2" and 9/16". No F#@$ING METRIC SIZES!!! :D

I try and keep it muddy. The problem with washing it is then you can see all the rust. :D

When I have to drop the header pipe from the manifold there's nothing in the way!

I'm rehearsing for the day when my trip to Advance Auto Parts is for my CJ5 instead of my stupid Mazda pickup. "It's for a 19-pre-computer-sensorless-electronics-free-73 Jeep CJ5 ."

I like the way I can park it in the garage sideways in front of my wife's Solstice

In the garage.webp

Yea no metrics!
I can rebuild the CARB so around $20 in less than an afternoon
I can put $30 in gas and drive it for a couple weeks

The places it takes me. This thing is almost unstoppable.:D
