just got back from the parts place with 100 plus worth of plumbing parts for the jeep. time to start.

Boy! talk about out of hand. I decided that it would be a good idea to clean/rearrange my shop/garage today so I could actually park the CJ in it. I have spent a lot of time looking at it through the window as it set out in the drive in the rain.
I would like to say that I admire and envy anyone who can have just one interest. I don't care if it is a jeep , a dog, a boat , or a sport. Hell I envy a person who can manage to concentrate on stamp collecting, well that may be pushing it a bit, but you get the point.
Another of my character faults is the total inability to get rid of anything.
This time I just set out to move some shelves around to give me a bit more room by the door and that took 6 hours. That is 6 good hours, no beer no lunch , no naps, I actually worked at it hard.
Now I am spent and have found about half the floor that I need to find and the jeep has not moved an inch.
I have also decided that patience may be a virtue, but it doesn't look like it is one of mine.
OK thats enough venting, The day went well and as I lay on the creeper in the garage changing U-joints and doing that cool spring hanger ramp in the warm and dry I will smile and think about how smart I was to spent a couple of days of good weather clearing the deck.
