Top Buttons

Alright yall my cj isn't set up with the buttons on the tub already for the soft top. The question is where do you get the buttons to put on the tub and are there different sizes or just universal and where do they go on the cj.

When you purchase a soft top, all that stuff comes with the kit. I would recommend the Bestop SuperTop, that uses a different setup.

I have the used top already. I just need the part of the buttons for the jeep. The ones on the top are fine. I'm going to need more than 10 for the whole thing but don't need all the extra.

They come in handy to snap other stuff too

Also the doors will need some most of the time. My top has 6 on each side, 5 each door flap, and i think 4 or 5 along the back window...

Although my jeep has also had different tops on it because theres snaps all over the dang place!

It's on my "one of these days list"

Vick68, The snaps and related assembly hardware can be purchased at a fabric shop, at least thats where I buy mine.

Go to BESTOPS web site and download installation instructions for a Tiger top.That should be close to what you have. It will explain how to mark the body for snap location and bow mounting.I have done several top installs and it is a very time consuming job so take your sweet time doing it.
