Towing a CJ

Towing a CJ
So I got the new Jeep home this weekend. I Trailered it home with one of those Uhaul car carrier things.

It turns out it's a 1968 CJ5 with the Dauntless Buick 225 V6 V6 and it has had the T-18 Tranny Mod! :D So I'm pretty stoked! It needs a little love but it seems to be okay. Steering's a little squirrely though.

The tires that where on there were 35x12.5 and the uhaul tire straps would not quite make it (even after airing down the tires). Luckily I had 4 good straps for just a situation! I just left the tires aired down so it wouldn't roll any.

Thanks for everyone who helped me out!
I'll post some new pictures of it after I swap the tires (they are old)!

Jeeps are squirrely when all is right in the front end :D! 12.5 tires will most likely increase that squirrel sensation. Congrats on your new ride:chug:, pics are now in order;)
