My CJ7 HAULER QUESTION ???
my car hauler has four B rated tires(1480 lbs) but one is worn ...
I was gona replace two of those tires with C rated tires(1820lbs.)
Should the new tires go on front or rear ?

which axle is the worn tire on? That is where I'd put the new set. That axle is taking most of the pivoting under load.

That being said...
If I were you, I'd replace all 4 of the tires ASAP. The B rated tires are a bare minimum for hauling your CJ around, and I'd have to guess they are not rated as a trailer tire as well.
A "Trailer" rated tire has special compounds and different construction to help it survive a life under a trailer. Its very different than a car tire. And a matched set of tires will keep the heat down, reduce blowouts and make life easier on the trailer suspension.

tires are all trailer tires all 205/75-15...
It's just the load range thats different.
BUT... I think all four would be good $$$$

I really could use more responces on this question...THANKS:chug:

Whelp, I can respond, but not any better than My Little did. He's right, B rated tires are pretty light duty. If all you can afford are another set of the same, they should go where the worn ones were.

AFFORD ? $ COME ON COLD WATER...:D
Just don't spend needlessly but that said maybe I should replace all four tires with the C rated ST205/75-15 TRAILER TIRES

Sorry. Tough times for a lot of folks, so I never assume anything when It comes to other peoples money. :o But yeah, if money is no problem, and you want the trailer to be ready when you need it. I would go with new skins. The C's should be fine for a little old CJ.

I don't know how much your trailer weighs but I just put new tires on my trailer. I went with D rated tires. All 4 were $400 mounted, out the door.
They were the same size you have.

I put 4 new 225/75-15 D'S on the trailer ...+ 2 d rated spares...
Should be ready to travel to the ROCKIES see you there...:) :chug:
