Ok, I am trying to find original parts to replace worn out parts. Contacted numerous auto parts stores and no carries very many parts. Can someone recommend a good reasonable place to find parts. I tried to find a wheel/brake cylinder tonight for my 62 CJ6 and no one could even order one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I found this one...Brake Wheel Cylinder for 1954-1965 Jeep CJ | CyberJeep

It's not original, but made by Omix ADA so it should be lots of places or able to order from many places that carry the line. Part number is on there.

I just picked up my new wheel cylinders for my 1966 CJ5 from O'Reileys Auto parts, they had to order them but they can be gotten. :)

Unless you need specific body parts do not tell them it is a CJ6 , many parts stores do not have data on that model.

Morris has many parts for this CJ -->> http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-brake-parts/cj5-willys/index.htm

I started ordering most all of my parts online as the need arises. Seems like if I'm not looking for a thermostat or sparkplugs I am calling all over the region looking for stuff.

Thanks to all. Slowly starting to find a few parts locally or at least rebuild kits.

Original Jeep parts... call. 602-944-0396 Anne knows jeeps inside out backwards and forwards and yet does have the parts I need "in stock" when O'Reilly says "sorry guy no longer available". She is only open three days a week but well worth calling.
