I just bought a new set of led brake lights and they are not plug and play like the originals. I’m having trouble with the wiring on them. I’ve got it pretty much figured out I think besides reverse lights and a strange issue with the turn signals.

I have turn signals working but as soon as I turn the lights on I lose turn signals. I’ve tried going off of wiring diagrams I find online but the wires on the jeep are so faded it’s hard to match the colors. Does anyone have any info that will help?

The wires that are on the led brake lights are one is reverse, one is brake/turn, and the other that isn’t the ground is the tail light

Can you peel back into the harness some...where it's still shrouded? Colors should be visible where they've been covered

Over top of the driver wheel well before it makes the turn down trough the grommet is a good place to see them...inside the corrugated loom/shroud

'83 should be light green with a tracer for LT/HAZ, light green for RT/HAZ, white with a tracer for backup, white for tails
