I've been looking for a Alum. valve cover for my 1978 I6. It seems as if all I see are ones for 1981 and above, although the valve cover gasket fits just about all years --one part number. So, what is the difference??

i do believe you need to drill and tap a hole or two to use them. Been awhile since i read a thread about it. From my understanding its not a difficult task. Might do a search. Am sure there are some here somewhere
