To get just a single gasket, you will have to find a carb rebuilder in your area, or someone that has some thin gasket material and cut one out. If not you can take a cardboard container, ice cream, Pepsi or something thin. Spray it with a silicone spray, and let dry, then install.
It is best to get the right part.

We used to have a good carb man here that had everything, but he retired.

+1 on swapping, the kit for your carter is available at autozone and cheap at that, but its not going to do a huge amount of good for you. if its really hard to start then go for it, kit the whole carb tho, not just the base gasket. i will say tho, once you do this the carter will start to let you know why nobody uses it. get a mc2100 and thank yourself later.
