VIN # on frame

I just traded for a CJ7 the tub was change from a roll over at Tellico and there is no vin# no the fire wall I have a 77 bronco and the VIN # is stamp in the frame is the vin on the frame of the cj Thanks Greg

I think they only put the vin in two places. There is a vin plate on the firewall under the brake booster and one on the wiper motor mount that you can see thru the w/s.

On an 85, serial #, not complete VIN, is on the top of the frame rail, passenger side, above the rear axle hump.
