warn lock a matic hubs

This is my first post, I've just joined the forum. I bought a 1979 CJ5 , v8, 3 speed manual Transmission . I replaced all the front end wheel bearings and spindle bearings and got a lot of help from the posted information. but when I got back to installing the locking hubs they won't fit. everything I see on the post is not like mine it has another piece between the lock and the hub. Will send pictures if this post works, not sure I'm doing this right.

Pics are always good. Make sure those hubs are in an unlocked position before install.

Those lockomatics weren't rare on Jeeps, but they weren't common either. You might get more info if you google lock o matic. I know they were most common on scouts.
