Weight of a Dana 30

Seems light. And how do you have hubs with no brakes? I have mine setting on the floor right now. I don't have a way to weigh it other than a bathroom scale but what dimensions do you need? I can get them tonight if you can wait.

I got that from another forum, seems a little light to me as well, but only number I could find that didnt say it was an estimate. Still no way to know unless I weigh one.

Looking for highest point and end to end length.

If you can weight (haha) till I get home 6:30 est. I will weigh one, actually I will weigh every axle I've got.

I measured my Dana 30 and the length from end of axle shaft to end of axle shaft is 63 1/2". Now you'll have to add for the locking hubs which is probably another 7-8" for those. The height of the ends (at the rotor dust shield) is 12 1/2". And the width from the front of the diff. cover to the back of the yoke is 16".
Hope that helps.
