What battery

Looks like I'm late on this one but here goes.
I have red tops in 2 of my cars and 1 in my truck, the oldest one is 7 years old now the newest just a couple months. They have all been good to me so far.
In my cj I have a yellow top because of the winch, It's 3 years old now and still doing good even though it gets bounced around alot, and the winch gets used every now and than.
As you can see I like them. Red or yellow.

I think the yellow is the right choice for me. I was just over talking with my neighbor who has a sand and gravel trucking business and they use the red top in all their transfer trucks to power the trailer box in and out of the truck box, He said they install them on their side for clearance reasons and never a failure.

you want a real battery go for a deka, will outlast and out perform the otima by far. i used to sell and service em at a industrial battery shop, soon as mine old batt takes a dump i'll be buying one. check em out Automotive Batteries: Deka's Complete Line of Lead-acid Batteries for Passenger Cars & LTV they also have the sealed gell cell batteries.
