Been a long time since I've looked for Motorcraft carbs. What is the 4-barrel version of the 2100 2-barrel?

Anyone know about the cfm sizes too?

I'm not sure to be honest but if ur trying to run a 4 on a 6cly or small v8 like the AMC 304 then it's way too much carb and it will not run very well. Sometimes less is more

Sweet glad to see you around Caveman

They did install the 4100 on the 289 so there are smaller bore versions out there, however it is a Jeep so go conservative for better low end throttle response

Thanks Caveman, that's the number I couldn't remember!

Gert, yep I've been reading up on these again. Don't know if I'll get one or not but it's worth a thought since the 2100 is such a great 2 barrel. I've been looking for one of the 475 cfm 1.08 bore carbs and I think I found one. Of the many engines it was used on besides the 289 one of them appears to be the Fairlane with a 200cid straight six. That sounds like a perfect Jeep carb to me.

Right now I'm just looking and thinking. I think it's called "pondering" :-)

I have read that they did but i have not confirmed this yet. Can't do this from the phone because the mobile sites won't show everything, i'll post the link i was reading when i get home tonight so you can see what i saw.

Here's what I was reading, it's a 4100 on ebay, just scroll down to the compatibility chart and you can see many listings of the carb working for the I6 engine.

It also may just be that they threw every engine into that list without specific regards to the carb that was used since this is the only place I can find the 4100 listed for an I6.
