These bolts slide in the channel on the rocker panel and hold them onto the body.

They are called a T-bolt and have already been covered on Jeep-CJ and several other places.

Now we're talkin!! I was hoping that these would be cheap but they are not. I'll probably goto my local bolt& nut store and see what we can come up with.

Elevator bolts...... and something to sleeve a portion to prevent over tightening......

I'd go get a strip of .. 1/8 I'm guessing is the thickness ..cut and weld some threaded rod .. good call on over tightening .. round bar stock with holes drilled for some massive washers I'd say us easy

If you use elevator bolts, there's no need for welding....... just a spacer for overcompresion

This was for my FIL's CJ. He ended up buying some elevator bolts from fastenal and plans to cut 2 sides off to make them similar to the previous bolts.
