ive never seen this logo on a jeep. it has like a longhorn steer head on hood and on rockers. its factory . tag just says amer. on it.

There were dozens of "dealer installed" packages as well as regional offerings over the decades that are next to impossible to catalog, verify, or assign any increased value to. Some set of dealers may get together, have some decals printed, and offer the "Longhorn State Edition" or some such and it is basically a marketing ploy. A local buick dealer forever made "diamond jubilee" edition buicks and people bought them thinking they were special because the dealer said they were. A cheesy vinyl decal was the only thing "special" about them. Many factory items are in fact dealer installed. Here is a list of the actual factory trim packages:

i just dont know what amer is on id tag. american?? ive owned 3 cjs and they all had a name on id . and never seen logo b4.

Mine is a Liberty Edition from the history I have found were exclusively done in the great lakes Chicago region of AMC.
