 what a control panel. you launching ICBM's from there?

Started on this a week ago and finally seeing some light. I will have the switch panel on tomorrow but probably not have much wired to it.

Cheers!

that is an awesome control panel...thats what i'm gonna do on mine, but will have it mounted on the ceiling...long story, but i'll show it off when its done...where did you get the loops from? a kit, or did you make them too.

thx and keep it up.

All I can say is WOW

Converted the oil bath air filter to a 91 Camaro paper type, almost looks stock!

Ceiling would work and look pretty cool! Here is a pic of the switch panel by itself with the harness hooked to it. It could be placed anywhere with a long enough harness.

WOW!!!!! If I even started something like that I don't think I would ever get done to many wires. Look great :chug:

I took many pics of the process, so please ask when you are ready.

There are many wires for sure, but you only have to do one at a time. Mark it and go to the next. Years ago my projects out stripped my minds ability to see the project as a whole. It's age I think. My 5yr old son was playing with the panel before I had it set for assembly and he asked were the switch that stayed in the middle was and was ON on both sides. I stared at him for at least a minute while he tried his best to explain what was missing. All the sudden it dawned on me he was talking about the ON-OFF-ON switch for the winch. DUH, a five year old could think it through better than i could.

WSS - The dash is really a work of art.

Looks like you moved the speedo to the left quite a bit, great idea. Any trouble with the cable?

And some more info about the decal paper would be appreciated.

Thanks! I did move the speedo over almost two inches. No problems with the move. The speedo is blocked by the steering wheel when turning sometimes but I am just being hyper critical of the location now, probably was the same before.

the waterslide decals came from here:

5 Sheets Clear Inkjet Waterslide Decal Paper for Model Cars or Nail Decals | eBay

I use these for CNC control legends too. They work good as long as they are not overly handled. On the dash is perfect, rarley touched except to clean. The seller has white decals as well, but I like the brushed effect to show through. I just printed a two color decal (green and black) to put on the glove box that says "first aid kit inside" that will go on the chrome lid, I'll post to show how that goes later.
