I'm building a Dana 44 front end and allready have the right gears.

Lockright: No tire size limit
Aussie : no tire size, limit, cheap
Spartan : under 32" tires,cheap
No-slip: smoother but more $
EZ: Junk
Quick: Junk

Do you have anything to add?

seems like the lockright or the aussie are your top choices. i've heard a lot of good things about the aussie especially for the price. have you considered a selectable locker or is that more than you want to spend. or if you already have the gears out maybe something like a detroit they are cheaper than a selectable but stronger than a lunchbox locker.

IMO I'd spend a couple extra bucks and get a detroit, it's a lot stronger.
And if money were no worries I'd go with a selectable for the front.

I just installed a Spartan Locker in my Dana 30 on my 85 CJ7 . Worked like a charm. Instructions were easy to understand and locked in like a spool. :chug:

well I got the new Dana 44 front end back from Mitchell's ,they are right up the street from me.A buddy and I installed the Spartan when I pulled the chuck out to take the axle to the shop. The Spartan locker was a easy install. Can't wait to get t out on the trail.
