Street Jeep for snow and ice, still on blocks in the driveway. '73 CJ5, 258 inline six, T18 tranny, Model 20 transfer case, Dana 30/44 w/ 4.27 ratio (soon to be 3.73), original Cutlas hubs, half-cab waiting to be installed. Daily driver is a 20-year-old Mazda pickup.
So I bought this '73 CJ5 project, along with a small pile of parts. Seems I have the wrong door. Can anyone tell me what I have here?

You may have doors for a '78-83 CJ5

Looks fine...a double strip of duck tape and you are good to go!

Looks like the body side hinge is off. The whole door needs to go forward an inch or two.

The angle of the windshield looks right.

I think you're onto something. I don't think it's the body mount, though, because the half-doors fit perfectly. I'll beat on the door mounts and see if I can get them to fit.

Ah half doors. Are they Best top Supertop?

The Super top uses different hinges than the standard Bestops.

Look at the hinges and see if they are the same shape.

My Supertop mounts in the jamb. 90 degrees to the centerline of the Jeep. My old std Best top mounted on the outside of the Tub.
