Post pics of your day trip be it on your property, backwoods, beach, mountains, or a short cruise to grab an ice cream.

I’m sure it would be interesting to see other member’s landscape and what differentiates one region from other regions, or our country from others.

Very nice photos. I wish the trees looked that good here in Northern VA. Our fall is getting skipped. But you are inspiring me to take the 3a somewhere scenic for photos.

I really love this idea for a thread. Been working like crazy but I hope to contribute. 👍

This is exactly what I was hoping our members would do. Please do!

Thanks for the comments and likes.

Great idea!

Here are a couple of pics of mine during Trunk or Treat this Halloween in the little town I live in. It also doubled as an 'all makes/models' car show. I take it to a lot of local car shows and it always gets a lot of attention. If I had a dollar for every person that came up to me saying, "I used to have an old CJ, but I sold it...man, I'll regret that forever," I'd have enough money to build a couple more!

Sweet 5, comes with candy too. Perfect color for the season, I'll take a bag of those M&Ms.
Nice brown stone restaurant behind your 5.
I'm guessing prior to the restaurant it was an old fire station built in 1924.

Not sure about the building, but there's a lot of history in Smithfield, VA. Colonized in the 1630s. Ham capitol of the world and has the world's oldest ham. Just Google 'ham cam.'

I've been wanting to dress it up as a pumpkin since I got it! The kids loved it.

Ham capital of the world!
Smithfield Foods = raises 12 million hogs and processes 20 million pounds of them annually.
Learn something new today.

Wish mine would just move under its own power

just keep after it and working on it and completing tasks and you will be driving it.

Took a shortcut to work this morning.

Interrupted this "out of focus" hawk having breakfast. Good size whatever it was, possibly a rat.

Edit: Now that I can see the pics a little better looks like a black squirrel. Pics were taken by phone.

The flying kind? Looks like a huge bat to me. Head of a fox with wings. I don't think it's a black squirrel. Just MI.

Or maybe a hawk?

Look closely at the hawk in the tree, it is holding what looks like a black squirrel or some type of weasel.
The hawk was on a log eating breakfast when I drove down the path. It flew across by path into a tree.

I wasn't very clear in my first post

When I posted good size I was referring to what the hawk was eating.

Actually I didn't read close enough, you already stated it was a hawk. Sorry about that.

First Parish Church in town square. Current building was constructed in 1899. The congregation was founded in 1620 by the Pilgrims.

This house was built in 1667 by Jacob Mitchell and sold to Jabez Howland, son of Mayflower passengers John Howland and Elizabeth Tiley Howland two of the original Pilgrims.

Below is Harlow Old Fort House. Sergeant William Harlow built this house in 1677 using timbers from the Pilgrims original fort built on Burial Hill in 1661-22.
