OK, I have these wiring protectors for our CJ7 , where do they fit? I found a cryptic answer, "behind the roll bar.". it seems that however I place them, they don't fit any contour.

I don't recognize them at all. I don't have a hard top. So maybe there? Sure never seen them on mine. Never taken mine down to the frame though but have been all over it!
'85 CJ-7, 258/4.2L 6cyl. Bought new in 1985. Full cage, Warn 8274 winch, Ford 9" rear, front/rear Detroit Lockers w/4:88 R&P. T-5 tranny and 4:1 t'case. 33X12.50-15 BFG/AT, MSD ign, on board air---
The top piece in the picture is the piece that goes off the bottom corner of the D/S door.
The other is fitted higher up in the door's chanel.
You should have screw holes in the body to confirm fitment.
