- 1976 CJ7 Jeep with a engine/tranny/wiring harness out of a 1988 s10 blazer 4.3l v6 with th700r4 automatic tranny and a cj7 Dana 300 transfer case with Novak adapter.
Complete wiring harness from the s10 blazer. Painted with HOT PINK Pearl paint with standard sized metallic halographic pink flakes. Painted by me -a newb. New rear, front and side three wire LED lights, New parts, new custom dash-by me And a lot of guidance from fellow jeepers and lots of prayers etc.... :p
I know this is a older thread but I traded a few parts and was able to put together my steering column from a column that I got in a trade and my own column...
Here are some pics of the rebuild..
I bought new lower bearings, Ignition lock cylinder and keys, turn signal switch and ignition switch, then painted...
Let me know what ya think...
I still haven't finished installing the wiring harness (a few pesky dash issues and upgrading the heater box is keeping me from doing so)
But hopefully everything works...
The column is now installed but I can't figure out how the horn pin is supposed to mount...
ANY SUGGESTIONS? I've heard there is supposed to be a spring in the canceling cam but I purchased a GM horn pin kit from Napa and the bushing won't work.. I have a solid horn cam tube.. I will post a pic.
