I have an 82 Jamboree CJ7 with a Chevy 350 crate motor on the stock T-5 tranny. Any ideas on which clutch set up to buy for replacement. Any help would appreciated.

I'm happy with a Centerforce clutch.

Thanks for the input. The current clutch doesn't seem right because there is no room slack. Meaning, the very second you start to relapse the clutch, it grabs a lot. Hardly any room to feather it if that makes sense. It is adjusted properly. Since I didn't do the engine swap, I'm not sure what's in there.

Do you have a solid disc in there? If there are no springs to absorb that shock it will grab really hard. We had one in our dune buggy years ago, that was a neck breaker...

I had a center force dual friction that was like that all in or neutral no slip at all…. it was meant to be that way though and maybe yours is to

Since I bought it this way, I have no idea what's in there. I plan on pulling the engine this winter to do seals and a distributor change. I figured it would be a good time to do the clutch while I was in there. Also planning to change it over to a serpentine system as well. Of course at this rate, it may go back in with a fuel injection system if I'm not careful.....
