I need to replace my speedometer in my 1979 CJ5 . I replaced the cable, and the odometer works. The needle goes crazy. The problem is I can't seem to find the correct one to replace it. Here is a pic:
It's a 0-90 MPH speedometer. The light on the left side is a brake indicator, and the light on the right side says "Emgncy Drive".
The replacement ones on the internet from 0-90 don't have the lights, and the 0-85 ones have "4 Wheel Drive" on the left, and "Brake" on the right. I think I need to be the 0-85 replacement, but all of the websites say I need the 0-90 w/o the lights? I want to make sure I get the right one, and that I can get all of the functions working. Please help....
