Hmmmmmmmm........... I may try that if I have to. I'm not past the point of no return on the paint job thankfully.

I might be a little late but you can purchase "rim tape" off of eBay and maybe even Amazon. It comes in a variety of colors so you can pick your poison. Just take your time and go along the lip of the wheel (or other "straight" [round] edge).

If anyone is interested, I have 2 sets still that I have put up on CL to try to sell them... other wheels to, but this is a white wagon wheel thread.
