Misc. Will this canister work

I live in Florida 0 emissions testing/ I have 79 fiberglass tub CJ5 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l w/ motorcraft 2150. I can restore original canister but I'm not concerned about originality . This looks like it would work, There's not much to them. I run my jeep open (without doors or hard top 100% of the time. Not stored in garage(car port) . Thoughts. Should I just delete all together Thanks in advace

I live Central FL. Since your running a 2150 as long as you cap the lines correctly you can remove it.

If it fits in the original bracket or location, ......

Mount it up. Hook hoses up to it and route them to nowhere and hide them in the rest of the Rats nest of Hoses and wires. Even hook them up to each other so there are no open hose ends to see.
Then if you go to a Krazy State like California (the world is on a Slant......ALL the Fruits and Nuts Rolled There!), being out of state, if anything they do a "Visual Inspection" and if pollution equipment is There !! Not Missing!! You are on your way.
Have some "Benjamin Certificates" handy just in case if he/she/it suggested that you need one or two.....for compliance.

I live in TX where no emission stuff is required when over 25 years old. But to eliminate fumes smell in the garage, and possibly help slightly with mileage, I installed a new canister with the engine swap. I can't quite tell the model of the one in your pic, but it looks like the one I used (AC Delco 215-153). Now I have fuel injection, so no carb bowl to vent. The original one had 4 ports on it (Gas Tank vent, carb bowl vent, PCV, purge). The three ports are gas tank vent (from the roll over check valve), purge (ported vacuum), and PCV (released fumes to engine).
