Hello,
On cold days or snow days, after I clear them up, I noticed that my windows fog up bad when I turn on the defroster. I constantly have to wipe the windows down inside the cab of my jeep. I also notice condensation on the inside of the hard top. I put on new seals around the jeep, but still have the problem. Please help its a pain in the *** during cold/snow days.

Sounds like there is a lot of moisture inside your jeep. Most new modern vehicles use the air conditioning as part of the defrost, removal of moisture from a vehicle. I don't have one of those on mine. Is your vehicle stored inside a garage or outside when you get started ? If yours is outside that may be the problem

Ive seen how a weeping heater core can make a windshield fog up. Might be time for a new one. Btw even if it doesnt show signs of a leak doesn't mean it isnt leaking. When i pulled my heater box apart you could see where the antifreeze on the heater core was evaporating.

I have been fighting the same issue. You have to eliminate as much mointure as possible. If you have carpet, it will hold moisture. I have been sealing my tub for some time now. I have to replace the floor plugs with new rubber ones, I took out my carpet, my air inlet doors leak and so do all my seals on my hardtop. I have a ways to go but I have sealed all the metal seems and door seals and felts. It a process of elimination. I did the blower motor upgrade and that helps. If my windows fog up, I will crank up the blower on hot and crack both windows open. This only works if you're actually driving. Thatxs about all I can offer

Pretty common issue in a CJ.

I have the same issue. I am slowly working on sealing all the possible moisture entry points and in the meantime I take a couple of fresh sheets of newsprint to wipe down the inside of the windshield with me every time I drive to work. Newsprint seems to do a better job of drying it off than anything else, It was a trick my dad used to do when I was a kid.

I sold the top and doors... instantly cured the fog problem.

Never thought about it like that, but the only thing fogging up on mine are the instruments when real humid, then i just turn the defroster on it disappears
