How do I keep my windshield glass from defogging here in florida?

Crazy as this sounds, clean it really well! I have spent my whole life in better than 80% humidity and windows are always fogged up. Clean them off and the defroster doesn't have to work as hard. If you have the option, push the a/c button to turn that on when it is running. Removes humidity from blown air.


This won't be too expensive Dear! That's what I keep saying. Over and over again.

Have you tried rain-x? I've used it on the inside and outside of my windshield, it helps for a while, but you have to re-apply it every month or so.

Great one there as well. If you weren't in contact with salt spray, it helps a lot too!

I think Rainex and a towel is about as good as it gets. Fogging is just humidity and temperature getting together and we can't change that. Enjoy that warm weather!

I always have a towel with me in the jeep.

I keep one of these in the center console, it's microfiber so it folds up really small and takes up very little space, and it dries out quickly too.

I picked up some of the Rain-X anti fog wipes for the inside of the glass, regular old Rain-X for the outside. It does an alright job for what it is, it will atleast cut down the need for the towel some... doesn't work as well as a good defrost system but I doubt you will be getting one of those in there anytime soon.
