What do you use for a work light, reachable, corded, LED, incandescent, or fluorescent.

With a hook, magnet, or stand?

I just recently converted over to the LEDs...like 'em a lot

Have two that I put on one of those folding tripods that previously held halogens and have a loose one with a clamp on it

No fragility in handling or excessive heat...hard to beat

I have several of those tripods that held the Halogen lights.

Do you have any pictures of them??

I got rid of mine on Craigslist long ago. Tired of fragile bulbs . I would love to see how everyone else is lighting up their work areas.

I went to an led with a cord pretty nice, it also has a hook, also snagged 2 of our parking lot lights from work when they converted them to led those jokers are super bright when they warm up

I have 2 fluorescent up in the ceiling and if I need more I have a corded light on a reel that is an incandescent, and the light I have for traveling is a corded light that is 12 volt I just clamp to the vehicle battery. That is actually pretty bright for 12 volt and had it for over 40 years.

I saw some LED's with the hook that were rechargeable and a hook but folks complained about the hook breaking off. they also had a magnetic base so they should stick about anyplace on a CJ, just not much plastic on them.

No, but I can take some

All I had to do was drill holes in the base frame for the bolt to go through

Like Pete said...got tired of the halogens crapping out...hated to chitcan the tripod...was still in good shape

Believe they sell 'em with a stand (Lowe's/WalMart)...singles, anyway...I just went this route 'cause I already had the stand

Oh ok that explains how you did it, that is what I needed.

Thanks

I use an assortment of lights, corded and rechargeable , and most are LED. The one that gets the most use is the smallest in size but puts out great light and has a magnetic end.

Thanks, that looks like a nice light, small but good output and versatile.

Just bought this one recently - extremely bright, rechargeable, magnet base and swivel/angle top make it really nice working under the jeep or under the hood. https://www.harborfreight.com/390-l...-led-work-light-63958.html?_br_psugg_q=lights

I have a rail of directional lighting mounted over my engine bay space for general lighting - got it for free from a buddy tearing some stuff out of a rental house

I've been itching to buy one of those. I'll put it on my Santa list. I've heard alot of good things about them.

That is what I got and so far it is good, I do wish it would fold flat though
