1 ton axle swap?

They are very big, too wide and heavy. Since you have a 75 I beleive your frame is narrower in the front. In a 76 and up the frame is wider and just needs to be out boarded with 3". Or maybe the rear is wider on the 75 and up.. either way its still alot of work. Why do you want to go to 1 tons?

Yes, their too wide and look goofy if their not narrowed IMO. If you go with tons you will need to go with larger tires to clear the diffs on rocks, hack the tub to fit the larger tires, etc etc...

It would help to know what you are using the jeep for. What size tires are you planning to run. Things like that.
