Hey guys,
been trolling for a while and decided to register and see if I could get some insight into converting to power brakes. I have a 73' CJ5 with manual drums all around, I will be installing disc brakes on the front and was wondering what power booster/MC would be the easiest to swap in. Any takers?

i would go to the junkyard and get a booster from a yj. make sure you get everything, rubber hose, booster, prop valve, ect. then read the tech article and tackle the job:chug:

Not sure why you want power brakes in a 2000# Jeep. You will love the front disks period. An easy swap with the right parts. 76-77 6 bolt caliper mounts make it a bolt up. Otherwise you can swap the knuckles from a later Dana 30 . No more "I'm gonna die" after a mud hole and steep down hill.

Consider doing the rear disk as well.

If the engine dies on a steep uphill climb, it doesn't matter with std vs power.

You will ask - Why did I wait so long to do this?
