As far as I know, yes.

Great man:chug: really good looking Jeep. im defiantly painting mine Oak Leaf Brown. that color really compliments the Golden Eagle decals.

I think so too, not just because that's how mine is, I think the dark brown with the graphics and gold wheels and tan interior is a good combo.

Without it all though, it just looks like baby poop brown smiley644.png

 true that i saw one on Ebay but it had a black hard top and no graphics and it does look like baby poop hahhaa

so i found a problem with my jeep. as all you jeepers on this site know, i have a AMC 304 and the hydramatic Transmission well, if its in park, for say im warming it up, i can rev it all i want, great back pressure:D but when i put in reverse, and hit the gas, it falls on its face. it also does that in evry other gear, except neutral. when i hit the gas, its like it floods from too much gas going in the carb, if i pump the hell out of it, it will hesitate, then go fine. and thats in every gear. timing is set, carb is rebuilt. ireally do not know whats going on with it:dunno:

wow i really like that!!

for the issues what carb are you running?
My chevelle used to do that. in neutral you could slam the petal and it would run great but when you put it in gear it would choke out. i did several things at one time so im not sure what fixed it but i tuned up the carb, new ignition system and i properly gapped the plugs and adjusted the timing ect and after all that it runs like a top

you could have a choke problem or something. have you tried letting it idle for a good while and get it up to running temp? or are these problems happening cold?

Well kickit, i did let it idle till it got warm but it still does it, however its not as bad when its really warm, i had the timing set by a chrysler mechanic, and oi have the plugs gapped right and it has a new tune up, it seems to be flooding out, if i put it in gear and hold my foot on the brake, it will drop to 550 RPMs and run great, then slam the gas and, hesitates and sputters and everything. i think i might adjust the fuel air mix one more time before i take it to a mechanic.

Im not a carb professional by any means but id try and adjust it one more time too.

you might need smaller jets and stuff. but like i said im not a certified pro lol just a shade tree guesstimator

if all else fails just hook up like a 100 shot of NOS and put some duct tape on it somewhere

keep me posted on what the results are

Well Kickit, i will try to tune the carb tomarrow, i hope it works, i dont want to pay anybody. ill keep you updated on the results of what happens!:chug:

Kickit, i tuned the carb alittle bit ago, i need to adjust the idling and set the fuel air mix down some still, its been running good since you told me about tuning it up, thanks:notworthy:

Jeez, that's a really nice Jeep! I just aquired a 79 Renagade, and I'm hoping to have it done in about 8-12 weeks! You've set the benchmark pretty high my friend, and I will chronicle it here as well! I get it here tomorrow, I hope.

Nice build, man!

Thanks:chug: i cant wait to see your 79 Renegade  are there any levers thru the floor? if not its a quadra-trac Transfer Case ! nice find!
