Unfortunate,y I'm not using my jpcj as much as I'd like. It's been sitting for a while. I'm posting my Craigslist ad and hoping you guys can tell me if I have valued this properly. I've gotten a few emails. It only one guy has come to look at it.

I looked over your ad and it seems like a good starting price. Id try to eliminate using the words "I think" in your ad. The previous owner swapping in a Scrambler Transmission doesnt mean much if it was anothe T-4 . Take it out a little and shift it into 4wd. That way you can say how the 4wd works. Id hit on some of the upgrades as well. It has a Weber Carb , a definate upgrade from the stock Carter BBD. The aluminum valve cover was installed to replace the leaky plastic one these Cjs are known for. Up front is a double tube bumper that houses two off road light and some tubular side steps that help getting in and out of the Jeep along with a little extra protection for the rocker panels.

It has Bestop Pocket flares all around for better tire coverage. The body wasnt cut , but could be fo that extra clearance you need Off Road. Protection doest stop there , this Cj has some diamond plate rocker guards along with matching corners. Something like that written a little smoother will help.

A couple little things that bug me. For almost $5000 put the new bikini top on it and dont mention a ripped one. It takes like 10 minutes tops. Clean it up and take up to date pictures. All the different angles from one location.

Hope this helps.

The price sounds good to me, at least around my neck of the woods.
I also agree with Pete, talk more about the good things it has.

Can you even lock up manual brakes with what I presume is a drum rear?

Not trying to be smart but many of us never had manual brakes before. So do they need work or are they just manual brakes?

With that being said it looks like a fair starting point for a southern jeep.
