1986 cj7 auto meter edition

a friend of mine has a 1986 CJ7 auto meter edition. 6cyl, stick, stock #'s matching, it not only has the autometer gauges, but an auto meter decal attached to the lower half of the vehicle. My question is if anyone has seen one of these before? and if anyone has any info on it? All help would be greatly appreciated!

I never heard of it but dealers back then did allot of whacky things to make "special" Jeeps to sell. Pictures please.......

I have never heard of an AutoMeter edition of a CJ7 .
Are you sure it's not the job of a PO.
Maybe Jeep did have such an edition. Just that I have never heard of it.
Like Kane suggested, maybe it was a dealer that came up with it.

My money is on the po installing gauges and the sticker that comes with the gauges.
