258 Cam bolt, spring, and pin kit

Ok... so in my haphazard disassembly of my timing cover, I seem to have lost the little pin that goes inside the cam gear bolt. I tried to get the part from Jeep p/n 83502890… but everyone is telling me it is on national back order. I tried through Hesco and they told me it was discontinued. I have everything but the darn pin. I’m about to try and make one if I can’t find it…… Any chance anyone has an idea who might have the 83502890 kit?
At this point… I’m getting desperate.

try checking out your local shops that build/rebuild engines. they may have what you need lying around. The keyway turned up missing on my crank when I had my engine done...and didn't notice it until a year later when I went to put it all together. A quick trip to the shop produced a whole handful of these things. So it's worth a try.
