304 V8 intake manifold?

I had given the intake manifold to my engine machine shop to clean up while he was doing the block and heads. He gave me a box with the splash shield, rivets and the plate that goes under the splash shield. I reinstalled everything and noticed a 1 1/5" freeze plug in the box. Did I miss plugging a hole under the splash shield or is just a plug that came from the block?

I dont think it came from the intake, I could be wrong but I doubt it

It has been a while since I got it back from him and he doesn't recall if there was a plug in the manifold.
