Now it’s time to find you a nice Flatty to take up the extra room on the trailer. Flatty, as in old Jeep LOL.

I want a flattie but I don’t think that’s gonna happen for awhile

You are young !

Purring like a kitten now, the new leaf springs are definitely stiffer than the old saggy stock ones, a few odds and ends left

Good show old boy, I say Jolly Good show. Sounds great !

LOL I pull the top off last night having a good time driving my Jeep and 344 am I hear the thunder......

Yeah we are getting pounded with rain and lightning today. I always keep a bar of soap in the glove box. Been caught many a morning or afternoon with just a bikini top on my Jeep.

I think I get a lot of cool points on this one... 1983 Jeep with a 1984 Warn 8274 winch loaded with synthetic rope

That ! And the non-head lights. A lot better look than the angry eyes of the newer Jeeps. Has that almost human face.

The 8274 is one of the best winches ever! :dbanana:

Can hardly wait to get mine back together so I can mount my 8274.

A lot closer...

Well my son decided to push the windshield down and crawl out on to the hood Saturday.... thankfully I still had my old windshield in and it popped out instead of cracking on him.......so last night it took me 3 beers to get the new windshield installed, it wasn’t to bad, very tight fit, I found the rope trick is probably the only way it’s going in. As soon as I got the first side over the lip I had to fully seat the glass and gasket to that side, then work both corners coming up the windshield at same time till I got to the top and I was able to go from one side to the other, I was also able to tilt the gasket a little to get it to seat in the channel as I went

I got seats today... been waiting awhile and no tracking number either, I also modified my Jeep to accept TJ seats and risers so guess what needs an adapter at $125 each and I was not aware of when I ordered the seats..... about to get my grinder out
