Well looks like the decision of where to place this spaghetti mess went faster than I thought it would, Ford left holes in the fan shroud that matches my relay mounting holes and the wire lengths are going to work out pretty good for attaching to my starter solenoid. Now I need some #10 bolts to attach it

Well I lost the original frame bracket to my Carter electric fuel pump years ago so I fabbed up a new one today, I need a low pressure pump for now to work with the carb now I have to figure out where to mount it as well....

Nice!! An allowable distraction. Funny - the tire carrier was the first thing I did with mine...... talk about backwards!!

Wow. You really are distracted. Next thing you know, you will be doing some painting also. Looks almost robust enough for 42s

Heavy duty as hell...

Lol you could probably just stop at heavy [emoji23]

I am working on the bumper now, I got some 4x4 square tubing that I want to taper down to a 4x4 across the top and 4x2 across the bottom. I also measured the back spacing on my tire and it looks like 5 7/8 inches was kinda hard to see so the tire mount will come out 5.75 so that the spare tire that I don’t have yet is not flopping around back there

Ok basic back bumper complete 58.5 inches long 4 inches across top 2 inches across bottom, still need to do mounting bolts D ring mounts and spare tire mount, that should make it pretty heavy

Sure looks good.

Are you stick welding, and if so, which rod are you using...?

Got to practicing beads with 3/32 7018 on 1/8" (DCEP/85 amps) yesterday. Did okay... had trouble establishing an arc. Once started I did okay.

I don't think 7018 is the best for tacking. Will try some 6011 today.

Very nice. Gonna paint it or powder coat it??
