Hi Y'all,
I’m not only new to the site but I also just recently bought my first Jeep last week (86 CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ). She needs a lil Love, due to the fact it was sitting for a while, like total engine gasket swap, also I have to replace all the Frankinbolts I found holding the engine together and what I’m told is a bad Carb. (When in idle and I get on the gas it will die out, but if I ease into the gas she runs like a champ???) I’m told it is a Bad Carb so I purchased a rebuilt Carter carb from Summit. Ok now to my question... I’m pretty sure that it already has the Nutter Bypass done and I’m wonder what I’ll have to do in order to get the new carb to work with my Ol' Goat??? Any help will be appreciated, thanks for being patient with this rookie.
