This is an easy one folks. If you have a CJ handy it should be real easy. When I first got my Jeep I cut the wheel well for a standard wheel well notch. Being relatively poorly equipped with only a stick welder I took the easiest route possible. Now I am better equipped and can't leave a job half done. This is the cut notch:

This is the final cut and the first cut at a notch. This one was removed and a better one in there now. Structurally it's the same, notice anything missing?:

The top corner should be blunted as it was from the factory with a triangular cut at the top corner of the wheel well. I cant stand the missing blunted corner so I have a request. Can you measure your corner in a way that I can replicate the corner cut. Fabricating the filler will be no problem. I would like to make my cut as close to the original as possible. Thanks for the help.

Great. Those dimensions will do and I could get it done with them alone. But, I could use one or more dimensions. How to explain what I need? If you project the inside line of the wheel well to where the top point I have in my version of a notch with a straight edge of some sort, what would the dimension be to all or any one of the cut corners?

I know we are talking about the factory angle and my notch layback angle is different, but I'm fishing for a starting point.

Im not following? If you are gona use those dimensions it can only fit one way the way I see it. And yes it will not be the same due to your now diff angles.

Yes, I'm a draftsmen by trade. It is possible to hunt and peck to find the proper starting place, I was just looking to cheat a little in finding a point of beginning. No matter what things are going to change though. Getting the dimensions close will make it look closer to being factory correct. Like I wrote above, I can work with these dimensions and I thank you for your time.
