Hi I have an 1980 CJ5 with an AMC 304 eng all stock, what happen is the jeep was sitting for a long time and the gas got old, so when i went to start it, it wont start so i add a litter fuel down the carb. and hit the switch and then it back fire and cough fire. not to bad but enough to burn the vacuum house to the air filter. dose any body have any pic, or know where the vacuum hoses go. it a California smog. got the jeep off the show room floor back in 1980.
