Dunno if it's the same as the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l but I can check my stash when the kids go down for a nap and I can get to the barn

6 cylinders come come out at an angle and don't use a plastic elbow

First time I’ve seen that angle elbow. Mine came with the AMC 4 cylinder. The accordion duct work went straight to the part on the housing.
 
I'm almost positive I have seen that on many GM scrap yard cars. Do you have access to a yard to browse around?
