Almost ready for the trails a few more questions about quadratrac

ok i have a 79 CJ7 with QuadraTrac . when i got it the hoses where disconnected and i know two plug into the switch and the pipes coming off of the Transfer Case but where does the third line to the engine vacuum source go. and also where and what type of quadra trac fluid do i need. thank you in advance

Its been too long since I had mine for me to remember where the lines went. I think Niedhogg has the QuadraTrac , pm him if he doesnt respond.

you can probably find some info in a few minutes of looking around International Full Size Jeep Association Those guys do a lot of QuadraTrac stuff.

The source for the q-trac emergency switch comes directly from the manifold. Easy as pie...

See that fitting on the back intake runner where that tube is hooked too? That tube is vacuum for the shift module on GM Turbo 400 , and right below it is that smaller 1/8" fitting.. that is where the emergency switch getts its vacuum.
