'76 CJ5 with an '88 258 from a YJ.
AMC20, D30, D20, T150.
My block cracked this week. A long hairline at the bend about halfway between the oil pan and exhaust manifold. It's a slow but steady weep.

I'll call some yards this coming week. I just happened to be at one Friday, they don't have any mid 70s CJs.

I know all about swapping in a 4.0L or a Chevy V6, but I don't need a project, I need a quick simple swap.

So, does anyone around the Southwestern PA area have a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l block lying around they'd like to get rid of?

Trans I have a seventy eight CJ7 with a th400 transmission in it. Does anyone know where to find the linkage that bolts onto the frame for the transmission?
