Can I use my T-5 bell housing with the T 176?

The T-5 , T-4 and SR4 use the same one. The T-176 is unfortunately in your case different. The mounting holes wont alighn.

Inside the aluminum bellhousing, there are locations for another hole pattern. These locations can be drilled and tapped out. This is what I did to make the bellhousing in my '86 accept a T-18 , i'm pretty sure that the T-176 and T-18 take the same bolt pattern. There are writeups in the Advance Adapters catalog about this.

Ok, so I need a T-150 or T-176 bell housing. I can get a T-176 tranny for AMC 150 so I am looking to find a bell housing for it.
